I commited the rookie sin when exposing my business when I first started spreading the word of SucccessUniversity.

 I killed the sale even before the prospect even knew the potential of this business!

I yaked and yaked until his eyes looked a screen saver had been activated.

To complete the foolish act, I actually started the conversation with the cliche line,

“Is financial independance important to you?”

“If I could show you how to achieve financial independance while still working at your current job, would you be interested?”

He gave me that grin, and told me,

“Perry, I was just asked by another network marketer the exact same questions…”

Man…I was just lumped with the other network marketers…Why was I so stupid??? Well, to give an excuse, I was very young in my foray into MLM business.

SuccessUniversity is seriously one of its kind. We are by far the only MLM business that focuses on Education, and Contribution.

Like I said, since we already have 4 websites given to us to promote through email, audio clips, flash presentations and magazines and DVDs that fully convey what we are about without having us to even open our mouths, we REALLY should just let our tools do the talking.

Whenever you sign someone up, only and always put them on your extreme left or right leg.

Here is why. All your students who enroll under you would then form a straight line. What is also means, is that the newest student always count as a number that links up everyone else!

With a straight line, there is no breakage, so everyone on the line benefits from the joining of the newest student!!!

How’s that for friends helping friends succeed! They’ll  love you for it! Watch their expressions as they watch their organization grow even without them lifting a finger!

Of course, with the ranks in place, it makes sure only the deserving people earn more than others.

Remember, this networking business SuccessUniversity is all about ethics and values.

There is a jumpstart to earning a whooping US$500 or more every month using this simple formula.

Introduce 2 people (1 left leg, 1 right leg) into SU using the marketing tools available (remember, no selling).

Teach the 2 to do the same.

I am talking about 3 way with your upline.

Never convince or persuade others to join your opportunity. You would find yourself digging deeper and deeper into a hole you can’t get out of. Worse case case scenario, you might lose a friend.

Rule number 1 of prospecting in SuccessUniversity:

Always and only use the million dollars of researched marketing tools to do the selling for you.  You have the coporate website with the FAQs, video and audio, you have the magazine and DVD, and you also have the 24hr introduction calls that you can let your prospects listen to.

So far, the magazine and DVD worked best. If you want to build your business with an acceleration, simply use the magazine system that I had outlined in the post found in this category - Follow the Proven System

Help From Upline

If you are asking for help from your upline to expose S.U. to your prospects, two things must be done.

1. Edify your upline - make sure you know all his/her successes and why he is an authority on the subject. If you are not sure, ask first.
2. Let your upline know who the prospect is. Give the upline any clue as to what the prospect is looking for in S.U. Sometimes, they just want an assurance that the opportunity is credible and want to hear a third party say it.

If You Are the Helping Upline

As an upline, you only provide credibility. You want the prospect to feel special that his friend selected him to speak to you.

For eg. “ I am glad I am speaking to you today. I told your friend here to lead me to 10 of his best friends he cares about to make a difference in their lives. I told him that I will support you, the same way that I am supporting him.”

You next want to make the prospects feel a sense of loss if he doesn’t take action soon.

For e.g. ” We are growing rapidly and making huge progress

The name card graphics you get from the back office is really nice. Our namecards design gets people talking immdiately after you hand it over. Do include your com/new link. You call people to action by telling them to download your free ebook, Think and Grow Rich.

Handing out namecards is never good enough. The measure of how well you had networked is how many contacts you received in return. Always ask for a namecard in return. Even a cellphone number will do just fine. What you need is a contact method to give them the magazine or tell about the free trial with US$2 donation.

I was utterly pissed with a friend of 12 years.

He invited me out to this meeting, promising me that I get to play the “cashflow game” for free, and meet successful people. It turned out to an MLM opportunity meeting. I hated the way it was hyped up, people cheering ridiculously, and after 2 hours listening to the talk, I still have no clue as to what his company marketed!
